La Porte, Indiana Speedway Hosts Annual Pump-A-Thon for Lurie Children’s

The team at Speedway #6661 in La Porte, Indiana braved the pouring rain last Saturday to host their annual Pump-A-Thon fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Speedway team members from stores all over the area gathered along with their District Manager, Deb Skube, and local store manager, Lynn Kellogg, to pump gas for guests and collect donations for the cause. In just one day, the team raised over $1,000 for Lurie Children’s!

Adler Carris, an eight-year-old cancer patient from Elkhart, Indiana who is treated at Lurie Children’s, along with his parents, Elizabeth and Aaron, joined the festivities and thanked the crew for all of their hard work! Adler is the Speedway Miracle Child for the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area and is featured on in-store signage in the area’s Speedway stores.
