Thank you Walmart and Sam’s Club!

The preliminary results are in and we are thrilled to announce the annual Walmart and Sam’s Club campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised an amazing $654,959 for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital. We are incredibly grateful for the associates across the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area who rally behind this campaign each year with enthusiasm and passion to change kids’ health and change the future.

Each time an associate asks a customer to donate to their local children’s hospital, they are making a difference in the lives of kids and families right in their own community.  Changing kids’ health goes far beyond helping individual children and families, it’s also about research, preventive care, health and safety education and other support services that help build healthier communities today and tomorrow.

Lurie Children’s thanks all the Walmart and Sam’s Club locations who worked tirelessly to raise funds in their stores throughout this year’s campaign, which ran from June 28-July 26.

Top fundraising locations included Walmart locations in Elk Grove Village, Ottawa, Crystal Lake, Morris and Shorewood. Sam’s Club locations in Hodgkins, Merrillville, IN, and Cicero were among the highest fundraising stores for Lurie Children’s.
