NASCAR driver Landon Cassill visits Lurie Children’s in Chicago

Landon Cassill, the driver of the No. 34 Love’s Travel Stops Ford visited pediatric patients at Lurie Children’s recently while in Chicago for Race Weekend at Chicagoland Speedway.

Donning his bright yellow Love’s fire suit, Cassill toured the halls of Lurie Children’s and visited with inpatients. Rocky the therapy dog also joined Cassill in the Family Life Center—which was made possible via support from CMN Hospitals’ corporate partners such as Love’s.

Cassill was immediately greeted by several young fans such as Emily. She had so many questions for Cassill and had even colored a racecar for him as a present.

Through September 30, Love’s is raising funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals during their annual fundraising campaign. Funds are used for treatments and healthcare services, medical equipment and charitable care in 101 CMN Hospitals across the country.
