Dance Marathon Leadership Conference 2021
Miracle Network Dance Marathon hosted the annual Dance Marathon Leadership Conference (DMLC) virtually this summer July 16-18, 2021!
Students attended from Lurie Children’s Dance Marathon programs:
- Concordia University Dance Marathon
- DePaul University Dance Marathon
- Loyola University Dance Marathon
- Northern Illinois University Dance Marathon
- Valparaiso University Dance Marathon
- Lincoln Way East High School Dance Marathon
These students had a virtual opportunity to connect with their peers across the nation to gain an understanding of best practices in peer-to-peer fundraising, develop effective strategies to raise funds and generate awareness for Lurie Children’s, expand their personal connection to a larger cause and reaffirm their commitment to local kids, and develop professionally through networking opportunities.
All of us at Lurie Children’s are so thankful to these young leaders for taking time out of their personal schedules to continue to help us grow and evolve our programs locally in Chicago. We look forward to the 2021 Dance Marathon season!
