The Nerdery Kicks Off their Extra Life Fundraising with a 100 Days Celebration

November 3rd may feel like a long way off for most people during a July heat wave, but The Nerdery spent their July with their eye on the prize: fundraising and planning for International Game Day. After raising over $14,000 as a company in 2017, the digital consulting company is committed to going above and beyond this impressive number in 2018. To jump start their fundraising and inspire gamers, they hosted a 100 Days celebration for their employees and gamers around Chicago.

The 100 days kickoff include tournament style play, table top games, and an extra dose of inspiration in the form of Lurie Children’s patient and avid gamer Adler. Adler’s family was able to stop by the office to get in on some of the fun, and share the impact that Lurie Children’s has had on their family. As gamers across the Chicagoland area start to prepare for their Game Day marathons and streams, The Nerdery’s dedication to Extra Life and Lurie Children’s serve as motivation to the gaming community to be a hero for kids.
