Kendra Scott Brings Smiles to Lurie Children’s NICU Parents

Parents and caregivers on the 14th floor Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Lurie Children’s were treated to an extra special surprise just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Last week, representatives from local Kendra Scott jewelry stores visited the hospital for a Kendra Cares event.

Kendra Cares is a creative arts program that brings the magic and joy of the Kendra Scott Color Bar™ to pediatric hospitals across the country, giving patients and their caregivers a break from their everyday to design their own piece of customized jewelry at no cost.

Thanks to the generosity of the Kendra Scott partnership, Lurie Children’s parents were able to take a moment to pick out their own jewelry designs for themselves or to gift to a loved one. Countless beautiful jewelry pieces were given out to deserving parents who have infants receiving care at the NICU.
