Direct Energy Attends CMN Hospitals Rally

On April 18th Direct Energy employees at the Buffalo Grove, IL office had the opportunity to attend the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Rally. We were touched by so many heart breaking, yet inspiring stories. We met Victoria Arlen, a former gold medalist paralympian swimmer and current ESPN host. Victoria shared her story and how she overcame the struggles she faced during her teen years when she was diagnosed with two rare diseases. Hearing her story along with the battles that other families endured was beyond touching.

Lurie’s hospital is very dedicated to these families and with the support of all their partnerships, they make dreams come true. For 2018, Direct Energy donated over $26,000 directly to Ann & Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital but a total of $1,294,912 to the CMNH organization. We look forward to another successful year.
