Child Health Day 2022

On October 3, 2022, Child Health Day, thousands of Dance Marathon participants and community members united and rallied together for their local hospitals. From a “Miles for Miracles 5k” race/walk, to tabling, to hosting a “Mini-DM”, to a Zumba class, our Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Dance Marathon programs celebrated Child Health Day in several different ways to raise awareness and funds in support of the patients and families at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Valparaiso University, DePaul University, Loyola University, Crown Point High School, Cary Grove High School, Barrington High School, and Lincoln-Way East High School all opened registration for their school’s Dance Marathon programs and worked together to educate the larger campus and community with information and resources on how Dance Marathon makes a lasting impact in the lives of our patients and families at Lurie Children’s. Funds raised by Dance Marathon supporters ensures Lurie Children’s can continue to provide superior pediatric medical care using the latest benefits and innovations in medical technology, research, and family centered design.

Lurie Children’s thanks our Dance Marathon students, advisors, and community for a successful Child Health Day and for their continuous dedication and support year-round.
