Celebrate Children’s Hospitals Week with us March 18-24!
Today, Monday March 18th marks the beginning of the third annual #ChildrensHospitalsWeek hosted by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and we’re inviting all of our Lurie Children’s patients, families, staff and supporters to join us in our movement to create greater awareness and support for children’s hospitals across the country.
Did you know that…
- Every day, CMN Hospitals treat 925 babies in the NICU and 2,329 kids for surgeries.
- Every hour, CMN Hospitals treat 39 children with diabetes and 92 kids with cancer.
- Every minute, CMN Hospitals receive $6,500 in donations, thanks to the support of CMN Hospitals corporate partners and fundraising programs.
Lurie Children’s is fighting on behalf of every child each and every day, but we can’t do it alone. Here’s how you can help by joining the #ChildrensHospitalsWeek movement:
- Wear a bandage, write the name of a child in your life and take a photo, just like NFL Placekicker Robbie Gould did with Lurie Children’s Champion, Benjamin below. Share it on social media along with your reason for supporting Lurie Children’s and #ChildrensHospitalsWeek.

- Tune in to our LIVE-athon and learn more about the kids treated at hospitals like ours across the country on Facebook.com/CMNHospitals or Twitch.tv/ExtraLife4kids on Wednesday, March 20 at 8 pm ET.
- Update your Facebook profile picture using the #ChildrensHospitalsWeek frame!
- Start a fundraising campaign on CMNHospitals.org/Fundraisers and select Lurie Children’s to raise funds for your local CMN Hospital.
- Keep an eye for Lurie Children’s patient champion, Benjamin, who will be sharing his story live from #ChildrensHospitalsWeek in Orlando, Florida!
